Everything is moving along pretty much as planned. Generally speaking, we are ahead of schedule. Attached is a recent copy of the construction schedule. The schedule was prepared by Lydig, and is something that they try to follow very closely, as so many steps are very sequential and involve several different trades and subcontractors.
As you may recall, Lydig is the general contractor for they project. Lydig coordinates a number of major subcontractors that are involved in the different trades. Right now, the following is happening on the site:
Foundations have been completed for the gyms and the wing housing the ag/wood/art/band room. The foundations under the wings for the middle school and high school classrooms are about half completed.
Irrigation lines have been installed in the HS baseball and softball fields, and they are now working on the two middle school fields and baseball field.
The main water line loop is in from the east and south side, but not yet tied to the city.
Sewer is being run from our sewer pump station to the east boundary near 7th street, and will be run to the alley beyond Spokane next week.
Additional topsoil is being delivered starting this week. (All athletic fields are to be seeded and irrigated by the end of August 2005, so they have a tight timeline.)

Looking north, the backhoe is in the commons near the theater seating. The back of the truck is in the main entryway of the school.

A concrete truck is feeding the concrete pumper, pouring stem walls.
